Kristie L. Welder

Kristie is a seasoned plaintiffs’ attorney who brings integrity and an unbeatable work ethic to each case, and treats each client like family. Her work on behalf of the severely injured has won big victories against some of the largest, best-funded corporate defense firms in the country.

Kristie focuses on representing people harmed by the negligence of others and victimized by corporate greed. As a member of the team that pioneered class actions against employers that mishandled their workers’ retirement plans, Kristie was an instrumental part of recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for working families and revolutionizing the financial services industry. Recently, her team achieved a unanimous victory in the United States Supreme Court for their clients. Kristie also has extensive experience working with labor unions and representing union members. 

 Prior to pursuing a career as an attorney, Kristie was a political campaign operative.

Brent W. Welder

Brent is an aggressive, passionate advocate who has won several multi-million-dollar cases for his injured clients. He is not afraid to take on the largest, most powerful insurance companies and corporations in order to achieve justice.

Brent has handled cases in numerous U.S. states including Missouri, where he is a member of the bar, and several other states such as Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Minnesota, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee (several of which he was accepted at the bar pro-hac vice).

In 2018, Brent ran for U.S. Congress in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. He has a passion for taking on giant insurance companies and corporations on behalf of his clients as they try to pick up the pieces after being harmed by the negligence of another.

Brent is the former National Field Director for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters labor union, served as National Designated Legal Counsel for a division of the union, and has represented numerous union workers in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.

Throughout his career he has accepted invitations as a guest speaker at universities and organizations throughout the United States, including Harvard Law School, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Georgetown University, and several others.
